In the digital age, information flows at an unprecedented speed, and access to news and information is within everyone’s reach, including children. However, with this advantage, there is also the risk of spreading fake news and manipulation of information. The VERITAS MEDIA project has as its beneficiaries the students in the secondary and high school learning cycles in the Municipality of Brașov and aims to combat the phenomenon of digital manipulation through education and awareness. The initiative is co-financed by the Brașov City Hall and implemented with the support of the Brașov County School Inspectorate.
Objectives:
STOP VIOLENCE
Violence among children and young people is a major social problem. This phenomenon has serious consequences for individuals, communities and society as a whole. In the educational context in Romania, violence in schools is increasing, which underlines the urgent need for intervention and prevention. Following these realities, our organization in partnership with Brașov City Hall and the County School Inspectorate is implementing the STOP VIOLENCE Project at the level of the City of Brașov.
